A couple more donation quilts

I found a piece of blue fabric that I had dyed and printed that was perfect for filling in the spaces of the pieced blocks I showed last week.

Then I pulled out a couple more pieces that were large enough to cut bigger blocks from and put this one together.

Both of these are now layered and ready to quilt. Then I think it will be time to stop making donation quilts for a while and get something else done. Things like its spring and the garden is calling, Studio B (my wet studio) needs its annual reorganizing so I can actually use it, getting ready for the class I'm taking the beginning of April and a trip to Washington after that.

  1. Love the leaves, of course ... but I also understand the necessity of cleaning up one studio in order to work in it. I've got to do the same with my 3D studio! Good luck to us both!
