Well I was home last week for two days before I left again. A family matter took us to Reno for a few days, the best part was I got to spend time with all three of my kids and four of the grandkids, it was great! Needless to say I don't have much to show other than my daily projects. I will show you the piece that I assembled from parts I took on the first trip.
I have fabric ready to be dyed teal for the backing, I'll quilt it along the diagonals where it was pieced and then donate it to a local fundraising effort. The reds, golds and plaids are all a cotton/metallic fabric that I've had for a long time. I also have enough parts leftover to make a table runner.
Daily stitching, 365 Red circles #225 - #232

I'm sure they will love to get this quilt to auction. The color combinations are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Norma, the colors are perfect together.
