A doll???
I'm not a doll person, but I have seven granddaughters and each of them has gotten a life size doll when they turn three. The youngest turns three this week and I've gotten her doll finished. She is three feet tall and I felt like it took me forever to get her made. Here she is sitting with the quilt that I also finished this past week.
Here are #42 - #48 of my daily stitching project. This week will be a test for me, it will be the first time that I'll be traveling while doing a daily stitching project. I'll let you know how that goes.
I have been spending time in my backyard just breathing, we have two very large lilac bushes that are in full bloom and the fragrance is wonderful.
On Saturday I went to my friend Lisa Flowers Ross's open studio at her home in Boise. It was wonderful, she had her work so well displayed and very professional looking. I didn't take any pictures, but our friend Kathleen did and you can see them here.

The dolls are wonderful :). Lilacs are in bloom all over our neighborhood too...love, love, love the smell. You are so fortunate to have two lilac bushes in your yard. I have one smaller white lilace bush...a little trooper.
ReplyDeleteLoving your pictures on your other blog as well this week.
