A couple more indigo pieces

I did play in the indigo pot again and I'm loving what I did. The piece below is cotton duck, about 22"x 70" I fell in love with it while it was hanging wet on the line.

After it dried I was a bit disappointed that it was paler, but I'm still happy with it. Now what to do with it?

I'm also quite happy with the circles hanging below it.

The Weekly Leaf

This week I used a leaf that had fallen off of one of my houseplants and the gelli plate.

  1. I love that indigo piece. It looks like a forest of pine trees in the mist. Can't wait to see how you use it.

  2. I've never played with indigo yet, but it's on the shelf. It's so interesting to wait and let the piece speak over time. I'm sure it will tell you what it needs. It's worth saying it's beautiful as it is, and also that I just love the movement in your hand stitching! It's always so fun to visit you here.

  3. Love the leaf prints. I was nature printing this week too!
