The Weekly Leaf
This week I used a leaf stamp that I carved at least fifteen years ago. It has always been one of my favorites.
I stamped it three times with different colors of Jacquards textile paint and used a mask to get an overlapping look. Here you can see the mask covering the middle leaf so that I could stamp the one on the bottom.
With the mask removed.

I've been out of the country fro two weeks, so am now catching up on my blogs. I'm glad that your surgery was a success and of course I always love what you do with your leaves.
ReplyDeleteI will embroider on anything, and I love the way you have used the Sari ribbon as a canvas for your stitching!
ReplyDeleteOh! So much eye candy! I can see why your leaf stamp is a favorite!
