Stitching

This week has been quite non productive, my weekly and daily stitching is all I have to show. I am quilting the leftover quilt, maybe it will be done by next time. I do have knee surgery on Thursday, but I'm hoping for a real speedy recovery.

The Weekly Leaf
I used a rubbing plate, the gelli plate, textile paint and hand dyed fabric to print this weeks leaf.
The paint was rolled onto the gelli plate with a brayer, the rubbing plate pressed into the paint and then the plate was pulled off and used to print the fabric.

Week #43

Lots of french knots to fill in the open spaces.

Daily stitching updates

Silk Fragments #293-#299

  2. Beautiful knots and stitches.

I hope everything going smoothly with the surgery. I know it is hard to be down for recovery. Behave yourself and you'll heal up fast.

  5. All the best for the surgery. I hope you will regain your wits quickly (not the right word, but I mean that the grogginess will pass quickly), so you can get back to stitching.

  6. Best of luck on upcoming surgery! At least you'll be able to hand stitch if not doing much else wandering around!
