Daily Stitching and not much else

In the past week my visiting grand children spent more time in the studio than I did, although I did spend some time cleaning up after them.  I also spent time working on and finishing a project my son had designed.  My daughter, sons,  daughter in law, grandson and I did a 5k race on Thanksgiving morning, we had so much fun that it may become an annual event for us.

I've just started my fifth year of daily photos on my photo blog, to celebrate I'm giving away a 2014 calendar with photos from the past year to one lucky commenter. So go check it out and leave a comment.

I did get my daily stitching done.

    A 5 K race??? Oh my....I'm so impressed and thinking about all those calories you burned off.....double desserts for you!

    I'm impressed with anyone who can commit to a daily challenge of any kind. What will you do with all the stitching at the end of the year?

      I've been sewing them together as I go,I'll end up with about a 63" square with a few extras at the bottom.

    Took the opportunity to do some exploring whilst there. We tracked around the ruins of a wool mill...and I brought home some rusty springs and a rusted post to use on some fabric. I haven't done it yet because there are lots of things to prepare for Christmas, but I am looking forward to seeing the results.
