A Slow Start to Daily Stitching #5

This was a busy week, I had seven family members here for four days so my stitching time was minimal. We had a great time even though five of our group didn't make it because of weather. We did the annual Turkey Trot 5k on Thanksgiving morning, with the usual coffee stop on the way home.

On Friday morning instead of Black Friday shopping we stayed home and created.

2019 Daily Stitching #5

It's started but not much has been done. To start with the color selection is minimal, but may change as I progress.

Almost done, some more background to finish up.

My husbands surgery will be this coming week in Boise, so I will be spending time there in the hospital. I'll have some stitching, knitting and reading with me, and will be staying in a motel rather than driving back and forth.

I'll be linking up with "Off the Wall Friday" and "Slow Sunday Stitching"

  1. it looks like you had a great day in spite of the weather. I look forward to seeing what you do with this daily stitching.

  2. Lovely to see the adults creating with the kids.... it's good for all of us!
Good luck with the medical adventure this week... hope all goes well.

  3. Creating is so much more rewarding than shopping!

  4. Linda -- I'll be thinking of you and sending lots of good wishes your way during the surgery. Hope everything goes well.

  5. My thoughts will be with you this week…..warm thoughts and best wishes.

  6. Oh my gosh, I love the fabric you used for this week's leaves. Fabulous! :)
