The feral mama cat that hangs out at our place just had her 2nd batch of kittens for this summer, this time we have six of them to find homes for. I tried to take a picture of them when mama had gone off to eat, but all I could get was this pile. They all just curl up in one big ball, there's one calico and the rest are black and white.
Last weeks visit with the oncology surgeon was a bit of good news/bad news. My hubby will get to keep his kidney, but will have to have 3 months of chemotherapy before he can have surgery. So now we are waiting to find out about the chemotherapy, our appointment with the medical oncologist isn't until next Thursday. We won't have to drive as far, only about 25 minutes, which will make that a bit less time consuming. Thank you to all of you who wished us well, I really appreciate it.

I'm including a shot of the full piece this week so that you can see my circle is getting a touch out of shape, I'm not sure if I should try to remedy it or leave it alone to prove that I'm just not perfect.

Sending love to you as you travel through this time with your husband. The kittens are so cute. Thanks for sharing your work here and on FB. You are my inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI hope you get the best possible results with your husband. Be sure to take care of yourself, too. It's not easy being a caregiver.s
ReplyDeleteI like the slight wonkiness of the green circle. I don't know how you kept them as straight as you did with no marking.
My thoughts are with you…..just try to keep stitching….it too heals the heart!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy seeing all the different stitching you do - it's just beautiful! Wishing you and your husband well as you navigate his cancer journey.
ReplyDeleteThose kittens are adorable. So glad you try to find homes for them. I will keep you and your husband in my thoughts. Just keep us informed and we will travel this road with you.

ReplyDeleteThat is an interesting dilemma with your circular piece... I look forward to seeing what you decide!
Sweet kitties! And lots of pretty stitches. I'm trying to branch out and learn some new stitches from youtube videos.
