More Wet Cyan Leaf Pieces

I was on a roll earlier this week and finished three small wet cyan leaf pieces. The first one is very small and will be sent off to the SAQA Spotlight auction that will be held at the annual conference in San Antonio.

The second will probably be my contribution to the SAQA online auction in Sept., although it is now hanging in one of the Four County Art Guilds locations.

The third one is hanging in the City library, another art guild location.

I still have a few more of last fall's wet cyan prints left to play with, I may get them out this week.

71 days of mark making days 25-31.

I've worked thru my sketchbook and I'm now going backwards thru it and doing the back of each page. I'm even starting to enjoy it.

  1. Every time I see your work, I remember how much I love your stitching. It's wonderful and adds so much. Are you doing a booklet of "a stitch a day"?...

    1. Thank you. I'm not doing any booklet and I tend to use the same simple basic stitches over and over.

  2. I am amazed how well the orange thread works so well with the cyanotype blue. I would never have thought of that. Your markings are improving. All you showed today look like abstract art. Bravo!
