Every year I make a few Valentine Postcards for the young people in my life. This year I made some hot glue stencils.
I used these with red paint and a gelli plate to print both positive and negative images.
Fused them to timtex interfacing.
Added some stitching, a backing, more stitching on the edges and then they were done and in the mail. I forgot to take pictures of the finished cards, but I'm sure you get the idea.
These are the socks I finished. Much to my surprise they came out matching. I never try to make them match, but the self striping yarn did it for me.
Also got the binding on the black and white quilt, but I need to get better photos so the stitching shows.
Seventy Days to 70 , #36-42 Last week I had several questions about the milk filters. They are about 4 1/2" round made of an interfacing type material and are white. I've challenged myself to do something to one a day leading up to my 70th birthday. I have to use materials that I have on hand and as you can see I have stuff.
