2019 Daily Stitching #2 finished

This has been one of those weeks where life interferes with being creative. I did start to quilt a donation quilt, but it's sitting at the machine waiting for me to get back to it.

This morning I did finish my second daily stitching piece for this year, this one took 89 days of stitching.

2019 Daily Stitching #2

This morning I did this last section on the bottom.

Now I have to get #3 ready to go. I think I'll be stitching in green this time, but have no idea what I'll do.

2019 Weekly leaf #26 , half way through the year!

I had a small amount of purple and sienna solar fast left, so they were combined to print this eucalyptus sprig. The background was stitched with another great Valdani variegated thread.

I'll be linking up with "Off the Wall Friday" and "Slow Sunday Stitching".

  1. Life has a habit of getting in the way of a creative life, doesn't it. Your Daily Stitching #2 is beautiful. All those little stitches have joined together to form a piece of great beauty and texture. Love your eucalyptus sprig too. The gorgeous background stitching in that pretty variegated thread makes the eucalyptus shine. Gosh, you are clever, Linda!

  2. I love your red circle! Can't wait to see what you come up with for green.

  3. Your red stitching is lovely, you certainly are one clever lady! Look forward to your green project.

  4. So pretty! Love the eucalyptus sprig and the variegated thread. Yum.

  5. Daily Stitching #2 is so very pretty. I love the eucalyptus leaves too. What a beautiful color.
