A productive week

I've had a very productive week, the five robes are done and I've ordered five tote bags in plain canvas to "wrap" them in, then the kids can go out to the studio and decorate their own bags. I've also finished the first sock of the current pair I'm knitting.

Also dyed and foiled a scarf for a donation to the art guilds silent auction.

The Weekly Leaf

This week I used a leaf stamp that I carved at least fifteen years ago. It has always been one of my favorites.

I stamped it three times with different colors of Jacquards textile paint and used a mask to get an overlapping look. Here you can see the mask covering the middle leaf so that I could stamp the one on the bottom.

With the mask removed.
