Experiment update

I've painted darker dye over the pastel piece from my last post. I'm still not happy with it, but since it was an experiment I'm calling it done. I do like the process and how it works, so I'm moving on to another experiment




This is the newest one, I drew a leaf, stitched it , gathered the threads and painted on dye.



This is how it looks after the stitching is taken out. This one I like and am trying to decide what to do next.
