That last square is a knock-out; beautiful stitching and the fabric colors are very subtle. And, oh my, a new Bernina and a Janome...sounds like heaven to me. I almost bought a 1950s Bernina from an antique store--built like a tank! Can't get them here. Btw, I lived in Boise when I was a kid...Hope you're staying cool.
best, nadiaMulticoloredPieceshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06161913409399066123noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8528973792771181447.post-78275968513217994352013-07-26T14:55:56.016-06:002013-07-26T14:55:56.016-06:00I love all your work, but the last piece is especi...I love all your work, but the last piece is especially great! They do look like they're floating.
I had a carpenter build an L shaped table into one corner of my studio. I keep both machines there and while sewing, I can swivel from one to the other on my roller chair if necessary. It is deep enough that I can store things at the back.
I like the little "bird tracks" on the last square.
Norma Schlagerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03979046682608968891noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8528973792771181447.post-59401396639907236152013-07-25T19:37:27.351-06:002013-07-25T19:37:27.351-06:00Your Fractured Monoprints are so interesting, espe...Your Fractured Monoprints are so interesting, especially the floaty bits on top.

I think finding space for a new machine is an awesome problem to have!
